Product Overview

ExcelFil® TECH Metal and Wood Composite’s formulations have been carefully balanced to print on any standard printer even without heat-bed or stainless steel nozzle upgrades required.

Unlike some filaments out there, our composite metal and wood particles have been carefully milled to ensure that they are safe to print at nozzle diameters down to 0.35mm.

Voltivo ships ExcelFil® TECH Composites on sturdy recyclable spools, vacuum sealed with a desiccant bag to ensure it arrives moisture-free.

Minimizing Nozzle Abrasion

ExcelFil® TECH’s formulation has been carefully balanced to print on any standard printer without requiring a heat-bed or a stainless steel nozzle upgrade.

Save down to 0.35mm diameter nozzles

Unlike some filaments out there, our composite metal and wood particles have been carefully milled to ensure that they are safe to print at nozzle diameters down to 0.35mm.

Filament Characterization

We spent significant time to test and characterize each new material and diameter combination in many different print tests. On top of the manufacturing quality control, we re-run these printing tests on range of 7 different models of 3D printers including Bowden and Direct-Drive setups.

ExcelFil® - Support Offerings

Creating successful prints greatly depends on the correct print settings. There are a large number of factors influencing successful printing results. To ensure results faster, we provide you with clear temperature and Slicer configurations reducing guess work and expensive experimentation. Each spool is labeled with a QR-Code which provides direct access to the specific ExcelFil® 3D Printing Filament support database entry.
